About the origin

HiPP Organic beef comes exclusively from animals bred in Germany, Austria, Ireland and Poland. There, all animals get sufficient grazing time. Our pastures have primarily been green for many years, some are on less fertile soils and others are in mountainous areas. Their biodiversity is promoted through the sensible utilisation of these lands. This naturally developed habitat allows our cattle to engage in normal behavioural activities: they live together in herds and decide for themselves when and how long they graze or rest. They can find sufficient amounts of perennial grasses and herbs to feed on. Being out in the fresh air is vital for the health of the animals. Only in winter and whenever necessary are they fed additional hay and silage.
