About the variety
The chickens are allowed to roam around freely on the land whenever possible. When the temperatures drop, our animals don’t have to stay inside the coop either but have access to a sheltered outdoor area. In order to keep our chickens happy, the chicken coops are very spacious. There, they also have constant access to fresh water and feed, which is produced in HiPP-controlled feed mills.
We predominantly rear the Sandy breed. This allows us to raise both the male and the female chicks. While the hens lay our organic eggs, the male animals are reared for their meat, which is used in our HiPP organic baby food.
