Muffins - 12 months onwards

Ingredients

makes 6 muffins:

  • 60g any HiPP Organic porridge
  • 60g plain flour
  • 50ml water
  • 1tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 25g butter, melted
  • (optional) grated apple/raisins/grated carrot

 

Method

  1. Heat oven to 160oC and line a muffin tray with 6/7 paper muffin cases
  2. Mix the egg, water and butter together.
  3. Then add the porridge, plain flour and baking powder, mix until smooth
  4. Add the filling of your choice to the mixture
  5. Spoon into muffin cases and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the middle comes out clean
  6. Break into small pieces that your baby can manage & check temperature before feeding
